NAB’s CCW has invited HITS to program a conference designed to address the unique information needs of IT executives who are charged with managing the implementation of their digital strategy. The show is the largest and most powerful media, entertainment, video and communications technology conference and exposition on the East Coast of the United States. Over 300 exhibiting companies and 7,000 attendees do business together every year at CCW.

Now in its fourth year. DM&A will again bring together marketing, operations and information technology leaders from throughout the M&E industries to discuss how new technologies and tools are boosting the success, audience and profitability of film, TV and home entertainment across multiple distribution platforms. What best practices are they using to harness the flood of consumer data that is now available? And how are the enterprises themselves adapting between divisions to maximize the effectiveness of this information?

THE Summit 2015 Banner v2Formerly known as ESCA, this think-tank format, afternoon event will give studios and their partners a platform to voice their ideas and foster an open, industry-wide discussion about new directions. As such, THE Summit conference committee is conducting a ‘call for ideas” to be presented at the event. Selected presenters will be given 15 minutes each to share their big idea and then the floor will be opened in a moderated ‘town hall’ style discussion.

For over four years HITS has been working on the West Coast with the CIOs of the Hollywood studios to facilitate information exchange and collaboration in television, film and home entertainment. In order to address the unique IT challenges of the broadcast, network and advertiser communities, the Society is launching its New York chapter on November 13, 2014 with a half-day program of panels, keynotes and presentations at Content & Communications World (CCW).
