CPS@NAB: CDSA’s AI Working Group Takes the Stage

At the April 13 Content Protection Summit, being held in Las Vegas during the NAB Show, attendees will hear an update on one of the Content Delivery & Security Association’s (CDSA) more important endeavors: the AI Working Group.

CDSA’s monthly AI Working Group is dedicated to exploring the latest technology trends, news, and security developments in AI that are impacting our industry (and business in general!). The session will introduce the group from its participants, where expert-led discussions cover a wide range of topics outside of security, including AI-driven content creation, personalized recommendations, audience analytics, and more.

Working group participants gain valuable insights into how AI is transforming the M&E landscape, and how they can leverage these innovations to improve security while driving business unit success. Join us and be part of the conversation that is shaping the future of our industry.

John Canning, director of developer relations for AMD, and Todd Burke, principal solutions engineer for Adobe, will discuss.

Additionally, later at the CPS event, Canning will present “The Future through the Lens of AMD’s Strategy.” This this final session of the day will have attendees hearing from one of CDSA’s longest-standing participants and a stalwart of the M&E community to talk about the evolution of the industry.

Attendees of the CPS event will hear from experts on crucial M&E security topics surrounding protecting against insider threats, standards for locking out live event piracy, the importance of risk management assessments, and best practices for production crew identity and onboarding/offboarding. And the increasingly impactful role of AI on security will be front and center, as the industry grapples with its benefits and consequences.

CPS is presented by Fortinet, with sponsorship by AMD, Convergent, Digital Silence, NAGRA, Prime Focus Technologies, Eluv.io and EIDR, in association with the NAB Show. The event is produced by MESA and the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA).
