Equinix Shares Metal Success Story at HITS Spring

May 12 at the Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event, Benjamin Jenkins, senior principal solutions architect for Equinix, will detail a recent success story with Super League Gaming.

The presentation — “Metal and More: Lessons Learned from Super League & Equinix Metal to Maximize Digital Performance” — will share how Super League was looking for a way to maximize performance per server for their streaming toolset.

Partnering with Equinix Metal enabled Super League to manage hypergrowth while actually improving their already premium content experience. Metal was able to help improve performance and lower costs by offering a true bare metal server experience in exactly the right location connected to exactly the right networks at exactly the right time.

After testing multiple options Super League discovered Metal could do everything they needed and scale on demand while consistently offering the performance needed to deliver the best experience to the broadcast crew in real time.

Brian Gramo, VP of video production and head of Virtualis Studios, will be on hand for the discussion.
