Genpact Touts Investing in Existing Systems at May 12 HITS Spring

The pandemic most definitely accelerated enterprise-wide digitization among media and entertainment companies, with many aiming to integrate disparate legacy systems and workflows, and some struggling to do so correctly.

And to meet the challenge, companies either redid their systems or replacing them altogether.

At the May 12 Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event, Rachel Thomas, VP and transformation partner for Genpact, will share a simpler, faster and better way to bring all your essential data elements into one single pane, in the presentation “More for the Money: How M&E Companies can Maximize their Investment in Existing Systems and Avoid Expensive IT Makeovers.”

“We’ve seen that organizations often implement digitization in pockets and then later struggle to connect the fragmented data streams to draw insights. At that point, many decide to completely overhaul their IT systems,” Thomas said. “In this session we will discuss why that may not be necessary. We will explain how media and entertainment companies can use AI and machine learning to integrate existing systems and save themselves a significant amount of effort and money.”

The approach she’ll be highlighting uses machine learning and AI to automate routine workflow and decision-making processes, enabling virtualized production and smarter operations. She’ll discuss how to leverage process and functional expertise to fast-track deployment of a flexible systems of engagement and deliver personalized user experiences; drive meaningful insights for business users to enable faster decision making without having to jump across siloed systems; and harness emerging technologies to deliver to oscillating demand and consumption patterns, and improve employee and customer experience.
