WiTH to Share Community, Volunteerism Ideas at May 12 HITS Event

On May 12 at the annual Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event — the industry’s largest gathering of media and entertainment’s CIOs and top technology minds — Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) will offer up ideas on how the M&E industry can be improved via community projects and volunteering.

The panel on the HITS Transformation stage — “Transforming Our Industry Through Community & Volunteerism” — will see Nina Skorus-Neely, WiTH Foundation secretary, Christina Aguilera, WiTH Foundation president, and Nadya Ichinomiya, WiTH Foundation chair, Iseabail Lane, co-chair of the WiTH Professional Development Committee, and April Schneider, chair of the WiTH Community Engagement Committee, share how WiTH has produced more than 20 virtual events in the past year, transforming its engaged community via committee-based activities around community building, professional development, mentoring, networking and more.

By creating single-day, standalone community engagement activities, WiTH has transformed over the past year, both retroactively and prospectively as the organization looks forward to the rest of 2021.

Also, during a break during the HITS event, look for Gina Cavalier, co-chair of WiTH’s new Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging Committee, to offer a free, online, 15-minute meditation, open to all HITS Spring attendees.

She offers free mediations to the WiTH community every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, via her Valley Village, Calif.-based company The Liberated Healer. To join the Monday, Wednesday and Friday meditations, click here.

The Zoom meeting ID is 959 2699 7706, and the password is bekind.
