Enter CONFR, a new professional events and conferences recommendation app — available for Apple and Android devices — for not only finding the most relevant conferences for your business, but also at the lowest possible prices possible.

The free app is the brainchild of Anand Vyas, president of Spunden Technology, and a longtime IT veteran and career sales professional. CONFR was a result of his own experiences, trying to identify professional events that could provide value to his work, but discovering what a time-consuming effort scouring the internet was looking for the right event.

“So, I would not only search but go through the event agenda, speakers, attendees, etc. to make sure I was signing up for the right conference,” he told MESA. “Generally attending a conference would mean that you have to travel, invest time and money, and then put in extra hours to catch up later. So, finding the right event is of paramount importance.”

Doing so manually — as anyone can attest — can be an exhausting and frustrating endeavor, and takes precious hours out of your day. He designed CONFR to solve those problems, with the app identifying relevant conferences and events information (based on your preferences), with the app then proactively providing those events to users, removing all the manual work of finding the right fits.

What’s more, the app — which is in its first iteration — also tracks pricing options for every event, from early bird to at-the door. “Another problem I had was keeping track of various pricing options and finding exclusive pricing that could save some money,” Vyas said. “CONFR will provide exclusive pricing that is not available by regular means, for select conferences. This adds to all the benefits.

“Also, wouldn’t it be nice that such an app would allow you to register, network, and communicate with conference organizers/speakers to keep the conference experience and engagement going? I had to address these problems for the sake of my fellow attendees, and CONFR was created.”

The app — which provides constant updates on relevant conferences — allows users to select preferences by Industry, sub-industry, subjects and locations of interest, providing the exact matches users seek, and as the app is used more, it provides even more relevant recommendations down the line.

Designed for professionals in sales, marketing, IT, accounting, HR, and other business functions across various industries, CONFR already covers an exhaustive list of events, and not only features a networking option, but also the ability to provide feedback to event organizers.

“Currently there are no such apps out there in the market that does this and some of the features mentioned are quite unique and not available in the market,” Vyas said. “CONFR will also help organizers with improving their event quality and experience.”

Going forward, he sees CONFR adding and improving on the user experience, making registration easier, providing hotel and travel deals, and enabling attendees to interact with speakers and organizers in manner that protects their personal info.

“As we get more feedback from the users, we will take that into consideration as well to improve the app. So, we are always looking for people to provide us feedback,” he said. “We are also going to add special features for event organizers that will enable them to improve their events and conferences.”
