BeBop, Sony Ci to Hold Post-Production in the Cloud Webinar March 18

Sports brands everywhere are looking to make the most out of all their assets, and keep fans more engaged with all the content available.

The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) — the world’s largest motorsports sanctioning body — turned to a pair of Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) members to do just that, and offer fans more engagement beyond simple race event coverage.

On March 18, the NHRA will share why it turned to Sony’s Ci cloud platform and BeBop Technology’s virtual editing workstations, in order to turn their small team into a remote powerhouse, to deliver major volumes of content to its passionate fan base, in the webinar “Why we Moved our Post-Production to the Cloud.”

Mike Rokosa, NHRA technology executive, and Rob Hedrick, director of post-production and supervising producer for NHRA, will share how and why NHRA moved to a cloud-based production workflow; how a centralized cloud content lake speeds up NHRA’s production and improves the quality of their deliverables; and both the benefits and challenges of teams embracing a cloud production workflow.

They’ll be joined by David Benson, CTO and co-founder of Bebop Technology, and David Rosen, VP of cloud applications and services for Sony Imaging Products & Solutions – Americas, with MESA’s Guy Finley moderating.
