BTI Studios Acquires Dutch Dubbing Studio (MESA)

Localization services provider BTI Studios has acquired Dutch dubbing studio Creative Sounds, extending BTI’s European reach. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Creative Sounds was founded in 2000 by Patrick and Charlotte Ulenberg — who will stay on board with BTI — and is headquartered in Hilversum, Netherlands. BTI and Creative Sounds have partnered on projects over the past decade, with the latter’s 14 dubbing studios providing services in Dutch, Danish, Flemish, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, German, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

“We’re very pleased to announce the acquisition of Creative Sounds. Having partnered with them for many years, we have been assured of their excellent customer service and the high quality of their work,” said Björn Lifvergren, BTI founder and leader of the acquisition team. “I have no doubt that they will be a great asset in supporting the Dutch localization needs of our clients. Patrick and Charlotte and their great team share the core values that have made BTI Studios the fastest growing media localization company.”

Patrick and Charlotte Ulenberg added: “We’re thrilled to join the global network of BTI Studios’ owned and operated facilities. We look forward to being part of a truly international company and the benefits this will bring to our clients.”
